I have recently reorganized this collection and added quite a few new pieces as  I had them in the regular folders from the area they were painted at, I think most folks overlooked them.    My Favorite Season to paint by far.  Although it can be challenging the rewards are worth it! The colors can be punchy or very soft depending on the light.  Lots of violets and grays to play with along with the rich earth colors really makes for interesting painting and the design of the snow and light can have an abstract quality that can lead your way in to the scenes.
