This is my favorite time to paint the crops as they dry and get ready for harvest, The colors change almost daily as the moisture leaves the plant leaving them in the end a drab tan. The tan shows up in the field of color as violet giving this warm cool vibration if you look long enough. I was very lucky to have hit the Jackpot so to speak as the color ranged from green to violet to a variety of yellows. Using the sky with its violets and blues set the stage for a very good color bounce. Very happy with this piece!
