The Bean Field In October

A familiar view here in Minnesota of the soy bean fields. One of our major crops besides field corn. The dusty greys and endless rows really are pretty in a way, When the sun rises  they can almost glow with the reflected light. as they dry the deer find the beans a delight and it is common to see them standing in the beans eating away, as they are picked the geese have at them dining in masses of hundreds and some times thousands. I have not painted a rural setting for awhile and it felt great for me to once again return to the gravel roads and fields.
