Fishing For Breakfast On Nine Mile Creek

I finally made it back to the 9 today after several months painting elsewhere. I saw a pic taken by a freind of the Heron and I always enjoy painting the water after a good rain so down I went and the Heron was perched on a rock oblivious to me as I set up and went to work, I popped him in where he was and worked the painting around him. He sat for well over an hour till some kids scared him off. I really had a blast and it felt great to be back along the creek again.
