Bend Before Penn On Minnehaha Creek

I have been walking here for over 30 years and finally painted this spot on the creek. It is at the end of the path from Forestdale road and you feel like your somewhere out of the city rather than right in it. I really love the way the light plays and the treeline and creek bank. I think I will paint this again in a couple months during fall..
