Lake Pepin View From Pepin Beach 4

My wife Nancy woke up and said hey lets go to Lake Pepin today to get the cooling lake effect. I checked the wind and stretched a 24 x 48 to give it the width and a 30 x 40 as a backup. Drove an hour and a half and found this spot under a cottonwood tree to provide shade, after my first pick realized I would melt in the heat and sun. My wife sat in the shade with the dog and listened to jazz and I got busy. I really like the challenge of the atmosphere and the distance. I could not as for a better sky to paint or light for that matter. all in all a great one day trip.
