Pond Reflections

I saw this last fall and did a painting of it in the mid winter. I liked the poplars and the design so i went back to paint it in the summer. I loved the way the light flowed across the scene and the little strip of water in the foreground. The color was so rich and a beautiful day to paint, I also had some great conversations with some interested Children and adults. I love interacting with kids when I paint as you can clearly see the wonderment as they see the scene being revealed on linen. If I can inspire anyone to paint I consider it a high honor and a gift to me.
