Stand Of Birch By A Pond

I saw the dappled light on this small pond at Richardson Nature center and thought it would be an interesting subject. I walked around and found the design of the birch against the pond and set up. It was a challenging scene with in an out light but I persevered and brought it to conclusion after a quick session in the studio. Lots of texture and a big pallet knife used.
